      It's unfortunate you feel so strongly about this, from my perspective Future takes pretty good care of its herd. Even now, in the middle of a pandemic where every company has had to reign things in a little, there are constant efforts to ensure everyone is healthy and cared for. There's an entire team of colleagues helping those who are struggling mentally right now, each of our offices have committees tasked with hosting regular events for everyone to participate it, and our leaders have regularly demonstrated a no bull approach to ensuring as many people as possible have what they need to do their jobs well. I can't help but disagree when you say this company treats employees like numbers. It's true there are difficult decisions made, such as centralising our development teams to make the whole steer a little easier to manage across multiple continents. Those decisions are never made lightly, and every effort is made to ensure anyone who needs to be led to another pasture is handled as compassionately as possible.       Compensation for our staff is a constant conversation at Future, and not something ever taken lightly. Negotiating your position, responsibilities, and pay is something done on a regular basis with every staff member, through tools like 121 and quarterly evaluations. A critical part of this process is built on the staff negotiating for themselves, which is made clear to everyone on a regular basis. Your accusation that we pay managers well above market average and staff well below is entirely inaccurate, but it's an understandable frustration if you believed this was the case as you were leaving. We all wish you well in your next position.

      Nice People on the team, The physical office is nice and in a good location.

      Cons

      The company is undergoing a messy acquisition with upper management either unwilling to fix or unaware of the systemic changes that need to me made for the company to function well. They quickly move on to the next acquisition before getting things right. Unlimited PTO but don't plan on enjoying it - you will be worrying about what headaches will bubble up when you return - even for a day. There is a lot of lip service about taking care of yourself but ultimately that is all it is. To sum it up this place is a rat race and all of the frustrations that come along with being dysfunctional will come back to you.

      Your frustration regarding a large acquisition is entirely understandable. Change is hard, and no one here would say we get it perfect every time. But we absolutely learn and make a consistent effort to improve based on lessons learned with every change. Our People & Culture team has been working overtime to ensure managers have the right tools to make sure the people on their teams feel they have room to grow and feel they're valued, not to mention a massive new training program so everyone who joins our team is able to quickly and effectively be a part of the team they are assigned. It doesn't seem like these changes reached you in time for you to feel like you were appropriately valued, and that's deeply unfortunate. On behalf of Future, I wish you well on your next adventure.
