      Google is a great company and they have resources to keep employees happy in terms of benefits and development tools.

      Cons

      My manager who joined from AWS was not a leader. It was worst work experience, Not delegating work properly, no mention of the team or encouraging the team. Very demotivating.

      Cons

      The free food and office perks don’t matter if teams are working in fear and it’s not uncommon for multiple colleagues to be on burn out leave. The Google Cloud Digital Native management unfortunately made everything very political and rewarded micromanagement leadership styles. Career progression is close to impossible with very limited promotions allowed.
