      Meeting people. Tips.

      Cons

      Hours if you have a family. All day Saturday. Hard to get time off for family events or if kids play sports/involved in extra curricular activities you miss everything.

      Great Clips is a retail business offering great haircuts at the most convenient times for customers. Franchisees and salon managers understand that the busiest times for haircuts are typically nights and weekends. They work hard to staff the salon for customer traffic while still taking into account a work/life balance. Thank you for your feedback.

      It's a franchise and the owners were amazing

      Cons

      If you do not cut mens hair less than 15 minutes you lose hours. If you do not cut womens hair in less than 30 minutes you lose clientele. Over all if you want to get paid hourly and get tips for the price of the haircut Great Clips offers than you get what you work for. But if your time is worth more than what you offer than Great Clips is not for you. This was a great opportunity to learn how to do Clipper Cuts but you do not get trained to do clipper cuts.

Our advised cutting times and cutting system is based on years of data that we have collected showing the optimal time it should take to complete a haircut. Each customer deserves a personal and quality experience. More time may be needed with some customers to be sure that happens. Clearly others take less time.       Pros

      Everyone's super friendly and helpful, my boss really went out of her way to get me hired and helped me a lot to get more comfortable in the salon and how the salon does everything.

      Cons

      I don't think there are any cons that I can think of. Everything's pretty simple and easy going. It's fast paced and the system is user friendly.
