      Pros

      Made good friends with individuals. Good benefits, respectful scheduling.

      Cons

      Management doesn't always take things employees say into account. LIttle to no discipline with no call no shows.

      My perspective of Hyatt

      Pros

      Great learning opportunity of the hospitality industry, decent compensation and great benefits. In the position I am in now, I am learning almost everything there is to know about running a hotel. Despite the fact that it technically an entry level position, I am still learning so much and have access to so much information in the form of reports, training, other departments and management

      Cons

      The Food & Beverage department has a lot of opportunity in the way employees treat each other. Before transferring to where I am now, I started in F&B and it was one of the worst "co-worker" experiences I've ever had. Most of my co-workers had very little respect or empathy for each other or the guests. However the department I am in now is much different and they seem to strive to make sure everyone is happy and content with their job :)

      Satisfactory job but appears to diminish with advancement.

      Pros

      The pay is great to start in the administrative/business side, they seem to care about their employees, nice perks

      Cons

      Jobs are always opening and people are always moving around the company but promotion is all about who you know, if you're not hourly they don't care about your work-life balance even though they claim to, pay doesn't seem to equal work in management roles

      Thank you for the feedback and taking time to write a review. You are right that people are always moving around and their are a lot of openings. We do our best to provide time off for those who work more in a typical workweek. We do care about work-life balance, but more importantly we need to encourage our leaders to understand what that means to each individual.
