Pros

They work with you and around your school schedule. The managers are easy going and will help out if you need help with anything or have any questions.

Cons

There is a little bit of office politics, but now it is winding back down since a manager was fired.

Pros

Hyatt tries to employ people with a certain personality which makes sure everyone you work with is friendly and committed to their work. The managers are incredibly respectful. Time off is allowed before you even qualify for vacation days. Transferring departments is pretty fast and simple.

Cons

Some of the guests that stay at the Hyatt take the name to an extreme by expecting things way above and beyond the norm.

Pros

Learn a lot about food & beverage operations. Worked 10 hotels in 13 years. I worked with many very talented under paid managers.

Cons

Hyatt "Corp" plan of operation is to work it's managers GM to mid level hard , keeping them under the gun. On the edge to get the most out of them. Working them 6 days, making them take shifts from team members (saving $$$$). This is and has been their mode of operation to everyone a touch of Hyatt!
