benefits galore

Pros

Management all the way up the the General Manager treat you like family. With 12 free nights a year at any hyatt (black out dates apply and sometimes are hard to find), 50% f&b while staying at hotels, 401k, dental, and health plans the benefits are endless. You also always have a chance to move up.

Cons

Until recently management has been great but I've noticed more and more micro managing to hourly employees.

Looks nice on a resume

Pros

The company name has really helped as far as getting interviews as it stands out on a resume, there were nice perks working there (ie.complimentary dinners, great discounts on hotel stays elsewhere), the health insurance was great as well.

Cons

The pay is terrible, the management can be catty and clique-ish and please do not think that you can balance any type of family life while employed here, you will have no outside life. While I consider myself extremely hardworking, the scheduling and hours are so varied and hectic, I was always running past my family to the door for work...which would not have been such an awful thing had I been properly compensated.
