Pros

- Great coworkers and strong team dynamic - Opportunity to learn a wide range of treatments - Hands-on practice and peer support - Collaborative, team-based environment - Opportunity to make additional revenue through sales commission

Cons

- Annual raises for returning staff are minimal, which can feel discouraging—especially considering the consistently high turnover rate. A stronger incentive might help with retention. - The 20% employee discount matches what’s offered to friends and family, which makes it feel less like a unique benefit for team members who contribute so much every day. - Appointment times continue to get shorter, which can make the pace feel rushed and unsustainable at times. It sometimes feels more like a production line than a client-centered environment. - Double bookings with CoolSculpting can be overwhelming, especially when trying to maintain quality care and attention for each client. - Part-time roles come with no benefits, which can be a barrier for highly qualified professionals who are seeking more flexible work arrangements. - The constant push for MPU goals can be draining for medical professionals. It contributes to burnout, especially when we’re working through lunch or skipping breaks to meet expectations. - Working until 7 p.m., particularly during daylight saving time, can really impact work-life balance. Many of us arrive and leave in the dark, which is something some of us hoped to avoid after leaving hospital shifts. - Frequent operational changes can be frustrating, especially when they don’t always seem to improve workflow or outcomes. - Limited access to external training opportunities makes it difficult to continue growing and advancing within our field.

Pros

Schedule (4 ten hour shifts. This has been a game changer-coming from 12 hour night shifts) Trainings (I had no experience in aesthetics prior to this job) Support from Management (my clinic manager and clinical educator are great so our clinic is lucky)

Cons

The bonus structure is always changing (it’s very competitive to get sales which sometimes can be frustrating)
