Pros

Ink is uniquely positioned in the media sales space. If you work smart and are prepared to put in the effort you'll be very well rewarded. The magazines are top notch, but the environment isn't given the credit it deserves, so you need to be a tenacious, accomplished seller to thrive. Reading some of the comments on here are laughable, most likely from failed former employees that would rather blame the company, than look in the mirror and blame their own short comings. You are told very clearly in the interview process exactly what is expected. I've been with Ink 8 years and I walked in flat broke. Nothing was handed to me. I had to work hard, but the leadership team saw that and my career with Ink took off from there. On top of that, at least 50% of the employee that work in the same office as me have been there for years and are doing very well. I've seen many people come and go during this time and none of the decisions were questionable! They either weren't good enough or they decided that the job wasn't for them. This isn't a place for slackers - hard work earns respect, advancement and financial reward.

Cons

Its a competitive landscape. The cons are external with competitors underselling

EVERY REVIEW ON HERE...I am going to bet they all got fired for being terrible at their jobs, not for turning down advances from senior management...which is a load of crap anyway.....and they got told at interview what to expect and probably said they loved it, cos they were desperate for a job....and then they couldnt sell and hated it!...but I bet their linked-in boasts proudly of their time at ink...because other companies value what people learn at ink...even those that cant cut it! Plenty of people love the company and earn loads of money...yes it is silly at times, but the silly bits all have a point and the comapny is growing loads....so it works...if you dont like it, leave, the bitterness of people on here is really sad...for them...not the employer! one comment...2 and a half hours on the phone a day...slave drivers!!....how can you find the time in your 9 hour day as a telesales exec to spend a 1/4 of it actually doing the job you applied for....completely ridiculous!
