Pros

Ink may be new to mobile development, but they've got a lot of ambition to create a quality platform and become a big player in airline mobile apps. I've learnt a lot of new things that will help with my career, such as TDD, CI and Agile The development team are all pleasant, technical, skilled people I have a shiny top of the range Macbook There's a very flat structure and you are generally free to make your own decisions about how to implement and go about things

Cons

The floor I'm working on is an overcrowded mess Although the office is in Shoreditch, which is convenient for me, it's a fair walk from the station Doesn't seem like you can carry any leave over between years Being new to making apps, directions can change quite quickly

Pros

Getting a job here is easy, countless people join, with little or no experience or qualifications. While it isn't rocket science to sell ad space, it would be reassuring to know that people on the floor were not straight out of GCSE's and can string a sentence together. The typical 'seedy sales boy' can be seen left right and center in this office with baggy jackets loose ties and disgusting attitudes. The sort of sales staff that would sell would / could sell ice to an Inuit, except they would describe it as a risk free time share on offer at a fraction of it's true value. Truth be told, there is huge emphasis on lead generation owning to the fact that there is little to no repeat business as their products are sub-par and overpriced (Advice to any potential client - Don't). When I worked here it was a requirement to have 100 NEW leads each day. There was also the requirement to have 120 minutes of conversations with clients on the phones, from that you were required to have 10 successful conversations going through an impossible to complete tick box process which rewarded all the wrong behaviours. Fail to do any of this? Forget your commission. Sell sell sell, no commission. Good glad that's understood.

Cons

Everything was just wonderful, be read the above for clarification.

Pros

No good things to share

Cons

INK was one of the worst working experiences i’ve had. The management was horrible and they constantly make comments that make the environment feel tense (eg taking commission). The team is also broken up into cliques which makes the overall environment really weird, i’ve been told things like “don’t talk to xyz” or “do you think they are your friend? They aren’t”. It’s just weird.
