Pros

Some very nice people work here.

Cons

This was the most bizarre employment experience I have ever had. At first it seemed great - employees seemed to get along well, perks like a trip to an amusement park and weekly breakfasts. I went through training and started to notice strange things about management and the staff. It is very cult-like and employees seem to worship the Chief People Officer or whatever BS title that guy has. There is a group of people who are clearly the favorites and work as management's mouthpieces. They use scare tactics and passive aggressiveness in an attempt to "motivate" you, when in actuality, their methods are counter productive. If you are reading Glassdoor, I assume you looking for real insight into a company. Here are the things that I wish I paid more attention to before working there: - All of the positive reviews on here use the same language. "This job changed my life!" or "Ink leaves you better than when they found you!" You will hear employees say this in the office too, but only when management is in ear shot. Talk to people outside of the office and you will learn that you have to drink the KoolAid to be successful with this company and it's all smoke and mirrors. - Notice how Ink responds to negative reviews on here. Their responses to criticism on this site are argumentative and threatening. These responses should be red flags! Do you want to work for a company where criticism is met with threats? Because that's the work environment you will be in if you choose to work for Ink.

Pros

Easy office to commute to out of central London.

Cons

Where do I start? Ink used to be a nice place to work but in the last 3 or so years, it’s gone down the toilet. Speaking of toilets the toilets ALWAYS stink and they won’t do anything to improve their cheep shoddy plumbing. When you work at ink, you think you’re part of a family until one day, one of the heads says they don’t want you there any more (for whatever unknown reason). After this happens, the situation is passed over to their finance manager who is basically a professional bully and will be the face of the person pushing you out. Really this bully has been asked to get rid, so the heads don’t have to look bad. It’s really nasty and I know at least 4 lovely ex Inkers who had to live through this. It’s awful for your mental health. Basically, heads don’t want to fire anyone (it’s either too much effort of cost the company too much money), so they just make your life hell until you leave of your own accord.

We would love to fix our "karma". Just now we are doing our best to keep Ink away from the Coronavirus beast. We are sorry that we didn’t handle things exactly to your liking. Jim Campbell is a very nice man and yes, should fix the toilets too. Working on everything

Pros

A company that focuses on personal as well as professional growth. I spent a year at Ink and like every other job there are difficult times but what I got out of it was far more than I expected in a good way. It is a sales job through and through and Ink does not shy away from telling you the realities of the job at the interview stage. It is hard work. At the same time, you get the most of what you put it. I got to travel that year and shared some amazing experiences with a great team. I learned more about myself working in Ink than any other job and I take whatever I learned everywhere.

Cons

sometimes there can be a miscommunication with the management
