      They've paid me well, but this is when they believed in the Johnson & Johnson Credo. The Credo is now dead. DO NOT APPLY at J&J

      Cons

      J&J is now an Indian Company. The business model is to sell consumer products to emerging markets such as China and India. J&J is opening a data center in India. If you live in India J&J may be a great place to work

      Pros

      J&J is a great company. It has always been conservative in approach, resulting in being cash rich. This allows J&J to weather the current down economy. It has Credo values that are very meaningful ifactually utilized. It also gives you an experience in being in a very large company.

      Cons

      There is a large company mentality despite the independent operating companies. You realize that you are just a number & you are dispensable. Credo values are touted but not often followed by management. There is constant chatter about work life balance but depending on the operating company you are at, there is basically no balance. It is work all the time.

      If you want the experience, the company will help you to get it.

      Cons

      Right now, the global banding process hurts some and praises others. How these decisions were made has not been communicated to those who were effected. The "be grateful you have a job" is the excuse J&J is using to make changes to policies that will only effect employees well being and not save the company any money
