K-C is a nice place to work!

Pros

KC is a great company to start a career with. There is plenty of growth opportunities and the ability to move across functions. The company stresses work/life balance-which can be seen by the number of employees involved in company softball, volleyball, kickball, golf, flag football leagues. There are workout facilities on site that offer personal training, spin class, yoga, etc. Just about everybody I have met at the company is nice and willing to help out if you need it which provides for a great work enviornment.

Cons

A downside for some could be some of the locations. Many young employees out of school want to go to big cities, but I feel that there are enough young employees here at KC and in the main areas they recruit (Roswell, Knoxville, Neenah) to hang out with outside of work.

Pros

Kimberly-Clark offers a variety of internal resources which help its people develop into true professionals with a ready skill set to be employed in greater breadth of the company. Relative to other competitors and non-competitors, this commitment to select the best and ensure that they have the appropriate tools to manage business issues is quite impressive.

Cons

Although the company does exemplify a commitment to develop its people, it acknowledges and is working upon improving its internal communication channels and employee empowerment to achieve greater strength in its industry.

Kimberly Clark has built a strong company culture!

Pros

Kimberly Clark provides many liberties that other employers fail to do. The work/life relationship at K-C truly is that. It is not only respected by management, but expected as well. Giving its employees the appropriate work load, strongly supports this mentality. Also, the company is great at providing communication from its senior management in an effective and personal way, lending opportunities for direct interaction with them in a non threatening environment. Lastly, benefits and compensation are competitive at my current level. There is clearly an incentive to work at Kimberly Clark and to perform to the best of one's abiltiy.

Cons

The decision process slows the company. There are many layers of decision makers that strategies and plans need to filter through before they are actionable.
