Pros

The other CSAs are nice and helpful for the most part

Cons

Repetitive tasks, demanding and sometimes impolite associates who think they own the company, expected to do a lot of kissing up to rude people. The company forces everyone to always be in a good mood and if you are not smiling all the time, you get chastised for it. Micromanagment at its worst, must run every single detail by your team leader and quite a few of them seriously lack people skills and leadership qualities. No matter how many times you complain about something, almost nothing ever changes. They just want you to think as less as possible and refrain from using your initiative.

Pros

You can take call, if you like and get know Lifeplus products

Cons

Very poor and unprofessional management. No people management skill, no leadership skill. About 40% attrition rate. About 70% of the company comes from Germany. They work there mostly as call taking agents. Germans they very much support each other. If you are not German you will have less chance to progress in your career as you are excluded. As a non German you can be maximum a Team Leader if you build up good relationships. Very slow career progressing opportunities, take 2-3 year to be just a simple team leader. High Management is English, so as a European you have hardly any chance to be in Management. People who are training you developed several assessments. If you pass it you can get pay rise. However it's not easy to pass it as they have some questions which has nothing to do with your work. I suppose they don't have any more so much experience with agents every day work and they should update their knowledge in order to be able to put together proper assessment questions. I would not recommend to work at Lifeplus.

Pros

Some of the best, kindest, most supportive and inclusive colleagues, team work is a huge focus. The environment within the teams as well as collectively is so inclusive and supportive and as approx 80% of employees are not British nationals, everyone is very understanding of what it’s like to move abroad. It’s very straightforward to progress and pass the skillgate levels to increase your salary by £2k and all employees get an annual bonus, based on productivity. Training is continuously provided and you’re never made to feel stupid if you ask for help. Career progression is fairly straightforward and there’s numerous jobs you can move on to do after around a year’s employment.

Cons

Some of the tasks particularly on the phone can get repetitive
