Pros

Keeps good reputation outside, has good perks as usual tech companies

Cons

The tech stack is old, internal and so hard to maintain and change directions. Frugal to employees post Jeff Weiner times. Had an environment like toxic positivity, that when things are bad, they just hide it, and if not able to hide, will say it's good.

Ineffective management Toxic employees Inclusions isn't taken as serious as advertised Sadly after working for two years to get a position a LinkedIn I quickly found out the grass definitely wasn't greener. I came into LinkedIn excited and ready to go as well as incredibly nervous and anxious to prove myself. I quickly found out that working with the other in management was going to be a very poor experience. Other members of management had a problem with egos, many of them working purely for their own motives, idea from others out side of social circles were not accepted, and if you did or proposed something they did not like you would be quickly steamrolled. Even worse I was not the only person to point out these issues and when brought to upper management on my behalf or the behalf of an employee I would essentials be gaslit into thinking I was wrong. But I think the worst part is how the team treats people with medical issue. I personally have several disabilities and tried my hardest and always kept people in the loop with what was going on. My experiences as an individual with disabilities were met with apathy. Soon my performance slip no matter how hard I tried as I continues to struggle with new symptoms, so I went on a medical LOA and upon my return I was hoping for a fresh start to work hard and do my best. Sadly during that time I was informed by a co-work that I was being disparaged by both member who reported to me and my co-workers in management when the issue was raised to them by a concerned member of my team. When I returned I felt the tension as most of the team neglected to even go as far as to welcome me back or ask how I was doing health wise. At the end of the day it just felt like I was wrong for being sick and me going on a LOA was not okay. But that is not okay for ME so I protected myself and got out to save both my physical and mental health.

Pros

- I'm lucky and have a phenomenal manager - There are a lot of kind, fun, and talented people who work here - If you go into the office, the perks are amazing (food, events, amenities, people) - Work life balance if you want it - Benefits

Cons

- Base salary is lower than most other tech companies - Little to no advancement opportunities for CSMs - CSM onboarding and training is a hot mess - Lack of standardization and institutional knowledge documentation - materials, guides, playbooks, templates, etc. are outdated, incomplete, or wrong - Product issues that Product doesn't understand or take seriously, resulting in CSMs taking the brunt of customer product frustrations - Unreliable (and sometimes downright rude) Technical Support means customers refuse to work with them, putting more work on the CSMs. - Customer Support Help Articles are awful. They are a maze of inaccurate or incomplete nonsense. No one internally seems to care. Again, this has a direct impact on CSMs and makes us feel more like Product Support than Strategic Consultants. - Leadership pushes a narrative about "people first" "transparency" and "valuing DEI" and then completely broke all pretense of actually valuing any of it by not addressing internal layoffs and trying to sweep it under the rug.
