The constant pressure and unrealistic expectations took a toll on my physical and mental health. I felt like a hamster on a never-ending wheel, running faster and faster but getting nowhere. And let's not forget the pay. My last job paid me peanuts for the amount of work and stress I had to endure. It was an insult to my skills and experience, and it made me question why I was even bothering to show up every day. In summary, my last job was a soul-sucking, morale-crushing, and utterly dysfunctional nightmare. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, and I'm thrilled to have escaped that hellscape.
