      Capable colleagues make working at Maersk in Copenhagen a pleasant experience

      Pros

      Very capable colleagues, good mid-level managers, worldwide presence makes it easy to change positions within the company, good work-life balance.

      Cons

      No initial training (figure-it-out-yourself culture), don't quite see what they "next step" is in my career progression, still a rather male-dominated company (difficulty finding female role models).

      Pros

      Pleasant atmosphere with excellent working conditions and benefits. Company culture quite reserved and everyone treated with dignity and respect. Good opportunities for training. Management generally has open-door policy and suggestions for improvements are welcomed.

      Cons

      Since economic downturn too much is demanded of too few workers and the outsourcing of a number of tasks to the global service center makes communication and problem-resolution difficult.

      Pros

      It´s a Huge company, transnational, multicultural and challenging. It gives constant care to the people and nowadays enviromental it´s becoming a priority as well. Equal opportunity and develop provider, interesting, and feel proud to be a member of this family.

      Cons

      to much changes, cost is over quality, complex, too many unnecesary processes, too many systems adding complexity, standarization is not applicable on all processes & countries
