Decent company, good work-life balance, low pay

Pros

Everyone is very nice, almost too nice. It's a fairly casual office environment. If you are an entry-level employee, you track hours and get paid overtime.

Cons

You will not be compensated well. Some managers are not skilled or good communicators. Budgets for many initiatives are tight. Projects can sometimes seem haphazard.

Pros

it is stable and if the assignment is under the right manager work life balance can be reasonable

Cons

Management is inconsistent. For example, one manager, lacking appropriate expertise, will prescribe GRC development that is flawed and is crippling the system and then blame system deterioration on the person directed to make the flawed changes. This manager has fired or dismissed a series of competent professionals and has been promoted as a reward for the instability and turn over.
