There’s no direction with leadership. The company has been going down for years and leadership refuses to change. A constant threat of the company going under is used to motivate people but no substantial changes ever take place. There’s a ton of tech debt but no one has been there for longer than a year so no knows what to do. The only consistent thing was the turmoil and high turn over. The good managers quit and the managers that stay have favorites and play office politics. Working here was a terrible experience.

Leadership has no idea what they are doing. Despite being a fairly well known company, Medium has been a sinking ship for years. There have been many rounds of lay offs, and many other hard working employees have been let go for criticizing management.
