Cons

- Constant restructuring without reason - Lack of team stability - Product teams are micromanaged by both management AND the CEO - CEO - If you're not a cis white dude, it will be nearly impossible to move up in the company - Black / brown voices do not matter - Everything else about the company

Leadership has no idea what they are doing. Despite being a fairly well known company, Medium has been a sinking ship for years. There have been many rounds of lay offs, and many other hard working employees have been let go for criticizing management.

Worked with some good folks - they've mostly left the company, but there are pockets of very good people who are trying to turn the ship around.

Cons

The place gave me nightmares. It is truly a snakepit. Turnover is massive and the people who stay are those who thrive in a duplicitous, back-biting culture.
