Pros

- People are generally friendly. - Interesting problem space. - Good company mission.

Cons

- Product strategy constantly changes and lacks focus, making it hard for teams to execute successfully. - Leadership heavily micromanages and spends their energy on the wrong things. They claim that teams have independence and ownership, but the reality is that teams can't make decisions without leadership constantly questioning everything. - Career development is a joke, especially if you're in the product or design org. Engineering seems to be a little better. - A lot of lip service when it comes to company culture. Not a lot of actual effort to make meaningful improvements.

There’s no direction with leadership. The company has been going down for years and leadership refuses to change. A constant threat of the company going under is used to motivate people but no substantial changes ever take place. There’s a ton of tech debt but no one has been there for longer than a year so no knows what to do. The only consistent thing was the turmoil and high turn over. The good managers quit and the managers that stay have favorites and play office politics. Working here was a terrible experience.

Decent pay and perks, employees are dedicated in spite of poor direction from management.

Cons

Direction of the company shifts every 6 months, and the CEO doesn’t follow through on any initiative long enough for it to work. Advancement criteria opaque.
