Intense politics. Maniacal focus on cost and margin mean strategic projects and operational readiness suffer to the point of failure.

Looks good on a resume

Cons

Working paid hours are 40 but if you do not give 60-80 a week you are not good enough. Literally clocking 8h a day is less valuable than solving more problems than your colleagues do clocking 12h but solving half of what you've done. UK is the best, the rest is for doing the real job cheaper. Understaffed is a way of life. Nevertheless your work will always be "reasonable" never over the top.
