Pros

- great coworkers - everyone is super friendly and passionate about their work - growth potential - I was promoted from contract to full time in a matter of months - good perks - catered lunch, 100% paid healthcare, work phone and laptop, etc. - awesome location - San Francisco headquarters in the ferry building - fun at work - we frequently go on Pokemon Go raids, it's our job to play games :)

Cons

- sometimes people work much more than 40 hours a week, but I personally have been able to maintain a comfortable work/life balance

Pros

Everyone is very capable, hard-working, and genuinely friendly. It is a flat organization, which makes for a warm and approachable environment no matter who you are. Upper management is fantastic, and they truly do take feedback and put it into practice. They don't just dictate what will happen.

Cons

Everyone works so hard, and I can see the work-life balance possibly becoming an issue. That being said, recruiting is ON IT and Niantic is growing at a rapid pace. From that though, there is uncertainty in how the workplace can change with new people pouring in. But my experience so far makes me confident in the company's commitment to keeping the wonderful work environment going strong.

Pros

Company has very clear goal to achieve. All techs target at the production. The company has full control about the source, which means we almost could do whatever we want to do.

Cons

So far, I don't find anything I don't like.
