Pros

There is nothing positive other than some helpful co-workers.

Cons

UHC only cares about numbers. Employees are numbers. They actively diminish the ability to provide quality client care.

Pros

Stable Pay Dates, PTO accrues quickly, Diverse Set of Providers

Cons

No raises in 3 years despite perfect performance reviews. When I inquired about this, I was told, "Refresh just doesn't do this." I had earned additional certifications and another degree while employed there as well.

No merit increases for us

Pros

Some people are great to work with, but you will get worked to death and no recognition for it, other than empty praise

Cons

The company only cares about profits and not employees or their well-being. Horribly understaffed and underpaid, this year, despite being exceptionally profitable, they decided we get no merit increase and no cost of living increase, but they kept some meager bonuses (only so the execs could get their big payouts). Corporate executive pay is out of hand; their pay can equate to more than 300 employees, and they aren’t worth half of one who does the real grunt work. Dont work for this company - you’ll never afford retirement and you’ll lose your life to the job instead of having a meaningful life.
