      Pros

      Possibility of working from home a few days a week (it varies from position and manager). Very little micromanagement, with employees having a great deal of liberty to decide when/where to work.

      Cons

      Highly overrated. The company markets itself as a very meritocratic company, but politics still have a strong influence in positions/salaries. Salaries are a little above market, but the only chance of getting real money is in sales.

      About Oracle Brazil: The salary and benefits were very low for this industry, and there was no hope for a significant raise or promotion (just if you are the best friend of your manager) Management is poor and inefficient. Managers seem to be caught up in politics and corruption quite frequently and are frequently bad at managing and very good at micromanagement. Upper management does not care about anything, even if you report compliance issues and breaks.

      At Oracle you can make a lot money.

      Cons

      The sales team ia controlled by ego. The culture are managed by "Do what I order." Like micro management. To be successful you need to friend of directors. And not say the truth, like someone is wrong.
