Toxic environment, awful management

Pros

Remote working...and that's about it.

Cons

Literally everything else about the company. Executives and partners only care about the bottom line and are unencumbered by concerns about the work the company is doing. They force their underlings (including senior level management) to work themselves to death to serve their ever-changing whims to cut costs and increase profit. Dismissive of any input from staff regarding the feasibility of projects or engaging in new business. No recognition of performance or thought leadership. No sense of shared goals or responsibility. Once people reach management level or higher their performance, no matter how poor, is not questioned or addressed. Pay is below industry standards. All non-technical project delivery and corporate teams are perpetually understaffed and overworked due to high turnover and lack of consequences of bad workers. Corporate leadership constantly introduces new systems that do not work and are always "in development" while everyone is still required to use them. Management often asks lower-level staff to engage in blatantly non-compliant behavior for the sake of expediency. Project field teams are treated in a paternalistic manner, severely restricting their ability to perform and undercutting their work while sucking them into the dysfunctional environment of the corporate head offices. All company systems are run through Dubai and Australia, creating a severe backlog of requests for corrections of errors. Management constantly imposes immediate and arbitrary deadlines to help the company control costs while superseding the work employees are supposed to be doing. The company constantly espouses vacuous talking points about inclusion, diversity, opportunity, and personal enrichment and advancement while delivering on absolutely none of it. Corporate offices are all "open offices" that don't allow even a modicum of privacy for sensitive or confidential conversations. In summation, this company is a factory that churns through projects and employees to enrich the partners and executives at every other employee's expense.

Pros

Value for the organizational impact on a global scale, opportunity to travel, ability to work collaboratively with team members

Cons

Very poor management in DC office. Employees in certain departments are overworked and underappreciated. The work culture is amicable on the surface, but very toxic underneath. The open office layout becomes exhausting as there are many distractions and there is no privacy,
