Pros

Great team, clear KRAs, ambitious people, good stepping stone

Cons

Going above and beyond is encouraged but isn’t really recognised/acknowledged. Once you get to middle management (ie Team Lead, charged with standing in for Deputy Directors) requests for professional development are pretty much ignored, major salary discrepancies between equivalent roles (my counterpart within the same project was paid £12,000 more than me and I was never given a clear or understandable reason as to why that was the case). EAP resources and third party providers are primarily based in Australia, which can be hugely inconvenient for UK based operations and staff

Pros

There are no positives to working there.

Cons

Micro managers, allow sexism and sexual harassment. Benefits suck.

Pros

Some good people who are trying their best—especially younger staff

Cons

This is government contracting at its worst—no one seems to actually understand international development. I shudder to think what will happen when we get audited
