Pros

1. Everyone at the company is really supportive and invested in your growth. 2. You get the opportunity to work with really smart people who don't fail to surprise you each and every day. There's a lot to learn from your peers. Even though it's only the size of a start-up, the tooling & infrastructure that exists matches that of big tech both in terms of quality and depth. 3. The company is constantly evolving and adapting. For instance, my experience joining the company in a remote setting has been nothing short of fantastic. I felt supported and a part of the team as much as I would have had I been able to go to the office.

Cons

I don't think there's any cons of working here. If you're passionate about working in the gaming industry among smart people and hoping to learn a lot, this is a great place to be.

An Amazing Place to Work

Pros

The team is amazing. Everyone is friendly and collaborative. If you have initiative, love working with a really smart team of talented people with a passion for making great games, then PlayQ is the place for you. The PlayQ ethos is to work smarter, not harder. While we do work hard, there is a real commitment to getting the perfect work-life balance. This isn't some corporate platitude, either. PlayQ is constantly developing better procedures, building better tools and hiring the right people to make our team nimble, capable and responsive. The two co-founders round out a world-class executive team that have the vision and the wherewithal to take PlayQ to the next level. They've not only clearly defined an ambitious roadmap for the company's future, but also laid the groundwork for how to get there. There are weekly catered lunches, themed monthly gatherings and a cool esprit de corps that you can feel the instant you enter the building. Did I also mention that the office is located a short walk from the beach in Santa Monica? In short, PlayQ is an amazing place to work.

Cons

There aren't any cons to working at PlayQ.

Pros

The co-founders, as well as the respective stakeholders, are gaining traction in the match-3 mobile space. They're re-defining what a mobile company can strive to, considering their technical prowess coupled with their content delivery system. PlayQ as a whole is reminiscent of an early AAA mobile company. We've leveled up across each role and we're continuing to grow.

Cons

One of the major cons of PlayQ is finding the "Right" candidate. We've attracted talents from across the mobile & console gaming space but our main challenge is finding the right person to help us grow. This can lead to multiple interviews with multiple clients to ensure we're adhering to acquiring leading talent.
