I love the flexibility of my job, and that my experience here is what I make of it. I've gotten to shape not only my responsibilities and role, but also what my team means to PlayQ. Emphasis on personal empowerment and growth. This is a company on the rise. PlayQ is doing big things - so feeling like you are a part of that on the ground floor is really spectacular. Great culture that respects and appreciates transparency. A rare gem in the gaming industry where you can leave in a timely manner, and are not expected to work heinous crunch times. Delicious Catered lunches once a week~ The team is very friendly, and the operations team makes great efforts to provide wonderful team events and parties. The office is in the heart of sunny Santa Monica with gorgeous beach side views!!

This is a company that will not handhold or provide constant direction. Your experience here is really what you make of it, which may be challenging to some. There is a high expectation to pull your weight and set your own goals. It is ultimately very rewarding when you succeed, but may be rough for those who want a clear cut path to success laid out for them. This isn't the sort of place that offers jobs that you do for 40 hours a week and then shake off. You are expected to be invested in the vision of the company and have a personal stake in its success. For me - that is an amazing feeling - but it might not be what everyone is looking for.
