      growing pains

      Pros

      It's a huge brand with an impressive legacy. There's always something new going on. You can work on things outside of your official job description. There's a bar in the office.

      Cons

      The brand is going through an identity crisis that you can feel on every level. Nobody really gives anyone consistent direction. It's a free for all, but not in a good way. There are some seriously incompetent employees that are detrimental to productivity and the brand overall.

      Pros

      You will have a lot of leeway to own your own projects. There is a ton of room for work-life balance here, as there is not a set "start time" for most positions. The offices are gorgeous.

      Cons

      These projects may never go anywhere, which can be frustrating. You may find salary is very low for the job you are doing. This is common to the entertainment industry, so not much to be done about this.

      Great brand, but weird culture

      Pros

      Playboy is very creative and has a killer brand that everyone knows, working there opens doors with vendors and others.

      Cons

      No great culture across the company, you would think the job is at IBM not Playboy. Employees are never provided with perks associated with the brand, you need to beg and beg to ever hope to attend a Playboy event. HR not very involved in training or motivating performance.
