Pros

Variety of challenges, incredible intelligent coworkers, welcoming and social environment. If you're self motivated and driven, there are lots of ways to succeed and grow. Terrific benefits and flexible schedules.

Cons

Sometimes work can be unstructured, with. Lear large goals but unclear small ones. If you quietly sit and wait to get noticed, you may not be. VERY MVP driven, to the detriment of code structure and quality at times.

- lots of ownership and responsibility early on in your career - ability to see impact of your work on a daily basis - lots of management experience since you get to manage a cross-functional team

Cons

- can be stressful / long hours - it is difficult to work from home as a Product Manager because your team works less efficiently when you aren't there

Pocket Gems is a gem for interns

Pros

When I worked there it was about 30 employees so things have presumably changed. Anyway, I found pocket gems to be: - a great learning environment - fun - relaxed - food was delivered from a variety of delicious places - good team dynamics. At the time they had hired pivots and I was on a team that adopted a variety of the Agile methods. This included pair programming which really did strengthen team relationships. However, I don't think the rest of the company adopted this particular practice.

Cons

It's really rather hard to think of any cons... I suppose longish hours but it didn't seem that bad.
