Pros

P&G really is one of the best places to start a career. It has a policy of promoting from within and this is taken very seriously, it is rare to see people being hired above entry level. The systems in P&G for manufacturing and people management are among the best in the world. Their products are also the best in quality and innovation. The company’s principles and values are also taken very seriously; it is an extremely ethical company. All of these factors really make you proud of working there.

Cons

As a consumer goods company, the margins are usually very low. This makes the pressure for cost, cash and productivity sometimes overwhelming, especially if you work in manufacturing. The goals that are set to individuals and teams can be too audacious. This can lead you too work extremely long hours, feel very stressed and sacrificing your personal life.
