Weird progression structure and low key retrenching

Pros

Good benefits and flexibility Many soft and political skills to learn

Cons

Events budget are a joke. Many roles are being shifted out of SG office in multiple phases to save cost and avoid being flash on news There's associate and manager route both require degree and can join as fresh grad. Don't join as non managers aka BTA route. It will take you at least 5 to 10 yrs to be same level as fresh grad manager. You won't get variable bonus and to even be promoted to managers is like going for CEO interview even though you perform the same or better than those junior managers. Typical American companies tries too hard to empower women, E&I. It's good but it's also too much lol

Elitist and toxic behind all the prestige

Pros

Salary and opportunities are good for fresh grads. People are intelligent and talented. Global exposure.

Cons

No teamwork. No work-life balance. Dog-eat-dog environment. Elitist and toxic culture. Managers make or break your career. If it says anything, it's a common sight to see used mugs lying around all over the office for cleaners to clean up. This reflects the tip of the iceberg of many P&Gers' (not all) self-entitlement, elitism, and lack of consideration for others.

Pros

The pay is pretty good, benefits are pretty good and the co workers are great

Cons

Awful 12hr rotating shifts. More importantly, they claim there’s so much room for promotions and career advancement but there is not. You could be the best plant tech they’ve ever seen but it doesn’t matter. They would rather hire someone right out of college, who has zero experience to be your boss than promote you because they have a college degree.
