      Need to figure out who they are

      Pros

      The people are nice. The snacks are good (when they are replenished) and the office manager makes a real effort to try to bring the different teams together with events in the office. The intended mission of women inspiring women is something to really get behind.

      Cons

      There is a severe lack of clear direction for both the company as a whole and the individual brands. Priorities shift so often that it makes it hard to really know what your focus should be, and what actually matters to the people in charge.

      Stay away at all costs - Annual Layoffs!

      Cons

      I worked at SK for over three years and every single year, they do company-wide layoffs. It is senior management's way of abusing their right to hire and work entry-level and non-sales associates to the bone. More often than not, these are the employees that are being let go. Stay away from this employer at all costs. I've seen far too many great, young, bright individuals let go because of the toxicity that lies within this establishment.

      Work from home benefits. Lack of management allows you to work your own schedule

      Cons

      - VERY frequent layoffs. Don't get too comfortable. - Upper management has such a myopic focus on hitting revenue goals for the closest event, that there is no outlook for the full year and they can't figure out why each quarter sales are down. - President is focused on picking favorites and calling everyone 'babe' that if you're not on her list, forget about succeeding.
