Pros

A laid back environment, good people (not including management team), lots of snacks, a good location if commuting through Penn.

Cons

Management is horrendous and very disconnected from reality!! Inability to recognize true talent, lack of transparency, communication, or appreciation for the actual "doers". Lots of favoritism blinding management to making correct business decisions. Management depends on authority, inspires fear, uses people, and takes credit and places blame. No growth potential (despite what they will tell you). As for their ad products...they seem to be having an identity crisis and dont know how to stay focused and monetize properly. They roll things out before they have been fully thought through creating major issues post-sale.

Pro-Woman Company Misguided by Men

Pros

SheKnows Media promotes the unique voice of women in online communities and has a strong family-work balance culture.

Cons

SheKnows is increasingly managed by men who don't fully understand the desires and demands of their primarily female audience. Managers are looking at the bottom dollar for their departments without considering critical elements for growth and development.

Pros

Absolutely none. Not a single pro.

Cons

Low Salary - paid well below industry averages Narcissistic CEO - priorities shift regularly to suit to the CEO (Sam), everyone knows far too much about her family/kids because we are forced to pitch her children to projects to help them get into college, Poor Management - sales team hasn't hit a goal in 4 quarters but the pressure is pushed to other teams vs sales team recognizing they don't have what it takes. Lack of Transparency - people have ended up sick in the hospital because of the stress and lack of understanding of needs and projects. Everything is labeled as URGENT but nothing actually is. Fake "Woke" - CEO pretends she is very "woke" and supports women and POC but there is not 1 POC with any real oversight. The only women who have thrived here at one who do not have children. Being a mother is looked down as a negative at this company.
