I had three different managers in just a few months, and the role I was hired for changed almost immediately — from individual contributor to suddenly managing a team with no support or clarity. There are no goals, no OKRs, and zero accountability; everyone is sprinting in different directions pretending to make progress. Performance reviews are partly based on how much you appear to use AI, so the culture rewards performative behavior over real impact.
