Pros

The team work! No one at SnackNation ever says, "well, that's not really my job..." instead you hear, "I'm not sure what the answer is, but let's find it together." Everyone throws him/herself into the melee when asked. Leadership who sit right next to the people doing the work. The SVPs, VPs, and managers sit right in the middle of the action, and they aren't afraid to jump in when they need to (but they never do it in a condescending way--"yeah, yeah, it's just easier if I do it"...they stay out of the way, so you can get stuff done, but are there when you need 'em). Lots of availability to learn the whole business if you want. You might be in Sales or Finance, but if you want to see how they do things at the warehouse, they'll send you there to see how it all works. Also, the lunch and learns deal with current, provocative topics that relate to both business and personal interests. The sessions are conducted by both invited guests and on-site experts. Finally, just the energy in the office (which is a direct reflection of SN leadership). The vivacity you feel when you walk in the door makes you want to give 150% (as everyone else is giving that, too). I never had a day where I didn't feel motivated with the all the "get-up-and-go" that exists regularly in the office.

Cons

I really can't think of any--at least that are not personal and don't belong in an anonymous review.

Pros

If you're looking for a place to work that truly cares about you as an individual and pushes you to the next level, this is definitely the company for you. Yes, we work hard. Yes, we have goals. Yes, it's not always easy. But we have fun, and most important, we care. AND senior leadership doesn't only care about pushing you to the next level, they care about your personal growth inside and outside of the office. Overall…the snacks are top notch. The people are the friendliest (and smart, and hardworking, and caring, etc, etc, etc.). The energy is high. And the community is strong. If you want to be a better version of yourself tomorrow, and the next day, come join us!

Cons

N/A... it's a startup, and things are always changing, but change its a good thing!

Pros

For me, working at SnackNation was the equivalent of a college degree. I learned and grew more than I ever thought possible. It was the perfect platform for me to "graduate" from and start my own business. I would not be where I am today had it not been for SnackNation! SnackNation is constantly changing and morphing into a bigger and better company. You will be pushed to your limits and grow exponentially. You will meet some of the smartest and brightest co-workers who will inevitably become your closest friends. SnackNation is known for its amazing culture. There is a reason the employees are willing to put their blood, sweat, and tears into their work. Everyone knows the company's mission and you are all working together to hit company goals. Every sale is celebrated by the entire office with bells, whistles, and praises. The office energy on the last day of the month is crazy! Working at SnackNation really does make you feel like you are a part of something big. For Entry-level positions, it doesn't get any better than SnackNation. Their Sales team has top-notch training programs. The Marketing team has a kick-ass CMO, and the Customer Success team has one of the most fun team leaders I have ever met. For executive roles, it's a great opportunity to really step in and spearhead a fast-growing company. Mid-Management positions are a bit tougher as there are no defined paths for growth into Upper-Management yet but, regardless it's still a great gig that you will feel very proud to be a part of!

Cons

As with many fast-growing companies, there is not a clearly defined path for climbing the "corporate ladder" so you will need to be comfortable with asking for promotions frequently. Promotions are not going to just land on your lap after "X" number of years. You have to consistently push leadership for any type of promotion and fight to be paid your worth every step of the way or you'll end up sitting stagnant for years. Additionally, it was really disappointing to never see a woman promoted from within to a leadership position. There were a few outside hires but, they rarely stayed around very long. The leadership has been a "boys club" since day one and I didn't see that change much as the company grew.
