Pros

The benefits are good. Decent major medical, dental, vision, as well as 401k. As a rep. you do enjoy complimentary services.

Cons

OMG!!! So much. Your base pay is $15,000 per annum without ever an increase. The mileage REIMBURSEMENT is only up to $400 per month and you cannot go over a penny. On a monthly basis the cost of gas, maintenance and wear and tear will be over $1,000. You are running your car into the ground by working at Spectrum. Recently, they changed the manner by which they pay the mileage REIMBURSEMENT. Now you have to wait for about 3 weeks before you get paid on your mileage. The product is not good and too over price. The competition has better quality products at affordable price points and their customer service is much better. People do not wish to return to Spectrum because they keep increasing their prices and their customer service is rude to customers. You are required to work 2pm - 8pm M-F and required to work 3 hours every Saturday. They are out of leads and they are just rotating the reps at the same doors month after month. The home owners are tired of seeing a new rep every month and now they are calling the police. This is a slave job and the compensation is below poverty. If you have a good vehicle, do rideshare instead of this job.

Pros

Note: this review pertains specifically to the Denver, CO offices and, more specifically, the Software Engineering department. - Pay is competitive, though not spectacular - Benefits are good

Cons

- No option to work from home - Dress code is business casual (no jeans or T-Shirts), even for developers. - The senior execs for Software Engineering are, by far, the most uninspiring group of people I've ever worked for. They are slow to move, have few people skills and view people as "resources" who can easily be replaced. It's extremely demoralizing - Company continues to add layers to middle management, despite a lack of real value added by these layers. It's primarily Empire-Building by a few execs. - Office space is extremely crowded; most people share cubicles (both contractors and FTE) and the problem is only getting worse. I'm almost certain a couple of buildings exceed Fire Code limitations for occupancy - Favoritism is rampant, with low-performing Directors being promoted to Senior Directors or VPs. - Basically no company culture or company identity.

Pros

Still a great company but was better when under TWC. The pay is decent compared to other companies. Free cable and internet.

Cons

After the merger, things went south. Although the company thought they took care of tenure agents, they did not. A lot of good talented people left. Good for someone starting out. Not a job where you can grow. The majority of people who move up did so with a lot of brown nosing. TWC cared for there employees..,charter cares if you are hitting your numbers. Hours also suck.
