First reason which is a big one ... They will try to take your Money away !!! Yes this company will intentionally try to cancel your sale if you come anywhere close to the minimum sales threshold
Minimum threshold is 10 sales installed ( For the time being*** constantly changing ) that means 10 closed by their system or you don't get paid anything.
Example - You have 12 written Sales and 9 installed in the ground . You still have a week to go until the cutoff ... You think to yourself ok I'm good .. No your not .They will start to use different tactics to slow you down and make sure you don't get paid . Worst tactic is for them to say well Yes They were installed but OUR system couldn't close the last sale out for some unknown reason !!!!
Which at this point they will write you up and disqualify all other sales so that you don't see a dime of YOUR sales Commission. (Wow) you think can't be true . Well it is Very true and anyone accepting this position in the hopes of making that big commission think again . Charter will make your JOB hell if by some slim chance They do have to pay you .
Ok what's this persons main point ?
Well simple learn the hard way or listen to this warning . You don't want part of this old model sales JOB ... They force you to sell old home phone with every sale or it doesn't count and are constantly looking to mess you hard out of your Money and time .
Look if your trying to get a job and get caught up on Bill's thinking this sounds good...Please rethink the offer . Read their contract carefully they offer close or less than minimum wage given they won't pay you a commission.
Since I've been around I've seen over 70 -100 employees come and go and make literally no Money and go more into debt.
Upper management does have favorites and takes bribes with few reps . So many "Supervisors" have come and gone because they have to have a scape goat when sales numbers are low because no one wants to stick around . Also most are complete idiots and are only trying to impress upper management. These guys are the enforcers for the mob that's called charter.
HR - don't even think they will help you .Matter of fact they will do the opposite.
Best way to sum it up is You will be working for a Mob if you take this position. I left plenty of other reasons out .. Don't forget this is all after you have sweated in the hot Sun because this is Door 2 Door Sales.Thanks for reading God bless
