Pros

Career Growth Opportunities: I started as a front-line agent in 2007, and through the end of 2024, worked my way up from frontline agent to mentor, supervisor, and manager roles across customer service, repair, retention, and sales departments. The company offered a path for hard-working, flexible employees to advance. Variety of Experience: Exposure to multiple departments allowed me to build a diverse skill set and contribute meaningfully for over a decade. Rewarding Early Years: For much of my tenure, I found the work fulfilling, especially in roles outside of sales, where dedication was often recognized.

Cons

Toxic Sales Department Culture: The daily performance pressure in sales felt like relentless beat-downs, with little recognition or encouragement. It wore me down despite my resilience and track record. Lack of Support for Managers: As a high-paid manager, my compensation was frequently held over my head, and I received no meaningful grooming for the next step. Comparisons to peers in different groups (e.g., evening vs. morning shifts) were unfair and illogical, undermining my efforts. Retention Failure: Despite the new CEO, Chris Winfrey, emphasizing longer employee tenure, there was zero effort to retain me after 17 years of service. The end of my career here was a bitter letdown, reflecting a disconnect between leadership’s words and actions.

Pros

Nice office buildings in Colorado Engineers you work with can be great to get along with

Cons

Worked at this company for over 7 years and in majority of those years it's been a great place when they treated employees with respect, fostered innovation and encouraged drive. I truly wanted to invest the rest of my career at Spectrum. However, after yearly re-orgs, lack of direction from leadership. They went from a company who cared about their employees to the bottom line. Just to list it out: Shaming employees for taking doctor visits/barring them from taking care of their kids/spouses Not providing accommodations for disability (they already lost a lawsuit on this and continue to do it to other employees) Encouraging leaders to belittle/scream and be toxic to their reports. It's now becoming a PIP factory. This is happening across various teams in the Greenwood Village campus. There is a heavy abuse towards H1B visa workers as they are essentially stuck, so leadership is directed to abuse their hours, micro manage them, prevent them from self-care. HR is aware and protecting the toxic leaders, whilst avoiding exit interviews from employees who manage to get out to avoid hearing it. The mass leaving of talent is enough to showcase, Many who are currently employed are desperately stuck and trying to find a way out but due to current market challenges, they are trapped which Spectrum leadership takes advantage of.

Pros

Money that is it, the. Rest was terrible terrible management

Cons

You can never do good enough even if you are number 7 in the country for agents, they still will harass you and give you "advice" even if the advice makes no sense and expect you to follow it.
