Pros

Very good medical, 401K Match, Free TV service, Discounted Phone & Internet

Cons

Typical Large Sales Organization. Over structured for the Lowest Common Denominator sellers, but still a systems and procedures nightmare. Upper Leadership seems to allow no room for common sense decision and methods near the front lines. 3rd Party CRM platforms are the KoolAid of the 2020's even though all internal reporting suggests it's negative effect on actual sales.

Pros

Company vehicle and provides tools - Higher pay rate than retail or food service - No management watching over you daily Free services for your home. Get to take work van home

Cons

Metrics are unrealistic and don’t allow a tech to actually help a customer out as we should. Force a tech to always rush. They speak so much about falsifying when in company van but yet they constantly have us falsify tests and complete out jobs when they shouldn’t be completable just so their monthly numbers can look good Strenuous physical and mental labor daily - Working overtime most shifts, at the mercy of dispatch - Unrealistic metrics and compliance - Having to clean up after/not able to rely on other departments Most days they work you like a dog. They give you 6-8 jobs a day with one hour time frame to finish them. God for bid you fall behind and have trouble making it to your next appt.

Pros

-They offer VTO which comes in handy when you are having a rough day on the job (your manager may discourage it if you haven't met your metrics)

Cons

-You will be micromanaged to the point where it becomes unethical (I have had a manager tell me to schedule my bathroom breaks on my lunch break and threatened to write me up for being off a call to use the bathroom) -The company does not value your mental health. (If you have an irate customer on the line you have to de-escalate the call even if it begins to cross the lines of verbal abuse. It may seem manageable at first but after a while it can take a toll on you. -When the customers ask to speak to a manager most managers discourage transferring those calls to them which can lead to the customer becoming irate or more dissatisfied. -The metrics aren't created in the best interest of the customers or employees. -My former manager was dishonest and created a hostile team environment.
