Pros

Good team environment Competitive base pay

Cons

There is a serious lack of unity between departments. Particularly between customer service and retail. While both sides do their best for the active customers, there is little to no solidarity between what can and cannot be done for resolutions. Far too often, whenever someone wanted to cancel service, each department would be sending the customer to the other department to complete the request. Despite working in the retail side for several years, company policy ignores that time if you want to apply for team lead or management positions. You have to have 6 months of experience specifically in their customer service department in order to move up in any other area outside of their retail department. Sales results mattered more than integrity. Falsified PSU sales by the few drove higher monthly sales expectations for the entire team, while those few were still granted commissions for unethical practices.

Pros

Free services like cable and internet

Cons

This company doesn’t care about its employees. We are all just numbers to them. It is so bad that a class of new hires of 30 drops down to a handful just a few weeks after hitting the sales floor. And because people are always quitting they force their employees that stay with the company to do what’s called mandatory overtime. That means coming in or staying late an extra hour on most days. They don’t care how far you live from the office or if you have kids to get home to, they just want to squeeze as much as they can out of you. They do give you vacation and personal days however you have to put in a request and it will almost always get denied, unless you request a day off several months in advance. When talking to the recruiter she’ll tell you how much you could potentially make, but only some of the top sellers are the ones making decent money.
