Pros

When the company was Time Warner Cable it had many great benefits but since it was bought out by Charter Communications, I seriously cant think of one positive thing to say about the company. Maybe that your work day can start off at 10am if you choose . Allowing you to avoid traffic. Oh and you get free cable and internet if you are in the right area. That is the one good thing!

Cons

Where do I start? Ill try to make it short and to the point. They dont pay! I was fortunate enough to be locked in a base salary of 40k from when it was Time Warner Cable but after it switched to Spectrum, they began hiring newcomers with a base salary at 20k. They also slashed commissions to a third of what they were (I personally made about 60k less than what I did with the similar sales). They even dont pay you for certain sales any longer. And on top of all of that, they increased our property portfolio, giving you more work than you can actually handle. Management is terrible. They micromanage you to a point where it makes your job inefficient. You constantly have to check-in on your Ipad every step you took and we had two calls a day to check-in. Most management was also shifted from Charter and you can see them cater more to Charter employees than the Time Warner Employees....giving promotions and better portfolios to them. And I can go on and on about how they are going backwards in technology, customer appreciation, declining partner relations, increased prices in benefits but the bottom line is, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. This is from the top down. They will spend $2 to make sure you dont get $1. But they will lie to incoming employees and tell them they can make a certain amount of money, but you cant. I would sit new employees down and show them my spreadsheet on how to calculate their commission (by request). They see that, although mathematically possible because of uncapped commission, it is realistically impossible to earn what they said you can earn....IMPOSSIBLE. In fact, about 50k less than what they promised you can make. Its just not worth the stress, frustrations, low pay, poor management, gas money, wear and tear on your car, etc. Don't do it!

Pros

Free cable, internet and voice

Cons

Training? What training? We spent 3 1/2 weeks in a class basically doing nothing. The training systems were down so we spent 3 hours at a time for a 15 minute project. For all the time wasted, we could’ve been on the floor in a week. When we finally hit the floor, we have mentors that would rather flaunt their own arrogance than help us succeed on a system that we barely knew to begin with. Micro-managed like crazy, most days I leave there asking myself why I even took the job. Let’s talk about commission.....stock up on food, pay your bills in advance for a few months because you are going to be BROKE. You’re competing with everyone on your shift. There’s a set amount for each employee that can fluctuate based on other people’s performance. There is a bridge for 3 months, but don’t buy that you’re going to exceed it in those 3 months (even if you’re an accomplished seller like myself). They tell you that shifts are based on attendance, and test scores but that’s not true either. Prepare to work til 11pm. I haven’t missed 1 minute and had high scores (2nd in the class) and I will be working the late shift

Pros

Money. Salary is good. Headquartered in Denver. Location is nice. 20 nice words is tough. Benefits are ok but better elsewhere.

Cons

No work/life balance, no work from home. Treat salaried employees like hourly. If you take half hour for dr appt they will dock you 30 min sick time if you don't work 8+ hours PER DAY. Not 40 per week but 8 per day. If you work 12 hours on a Thursday you are still required to work at least 8 hours on Friday. No organization. After merger hard to get info on policies or networks or who is in charge of what.
