TOXIC and HOSTILE Workplace

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Benefits are the only thing this company has going for it.

Cons

Toxic environment in which management is encouraged to bully and harass employees by the higher ups if they are not happy with their numbers/bonuses. New hires are lured in with decent STARTING pay and benefits only to find out that in order to drive a company vehicle they must work for free and put the job before their family responsibilities. Yes turnover rates are high and yearly raises are slim to NONE. Promotions are reserved for friends and family unless you can find a way to prove you are "one of them" as they don't utilize any form of diversity or inclusion in their hiring practices. Seniority means nothing so if you plan on remaining with the company long-term don't expect any appreciation for loyalty or commitment. Micro-management is rampant to the point of refusing BATHROOM privileges. As an hispanic female and long-term 25 year employee I have witnessed and experienced it all.

Pros

Good 401k and health plan, free internet and cable. Good mid management and departmental directors depending on what department you are in.

Cons

Leadership is severely out of touch with the current events. The majority of the workforce can work from home and are actually much more productive at home. Losing a lot of very talented employees due to no flexibility when it comes to work from home. We are also having a very hard time hiring smart and talented people due to the company policies

Pros

Clean work environment, remodel building.

Cons

Micromanagement, can’t use the restroom when you need to, does not like to promote within, a lot of secret and hush-hush nepotism in this department. The Fraud department has their own HR department which is just one person. There job is to buffers anything from getting to the real HR department or corporate, because it’s so corrupt. It’s the Fraud Department but they treat it as though it’s a call center. There’s a service level, QA and a grading system every week that they’ve made up that is unrealistic for agents to actually conquer. If you don’t do a good job with that grading system within 3 to 6 months of shift changes. So your work life balance changes every 3 to 6 months. If you want to be upset every day by policies and procedures . If do not care about not having a moment to catch your breath In between calls and not allowed to gather your thoughts in between calls, apply. I’m telling you this so that you run and run fast.
