NY1 is a real newsroom, and there are a ton of smart, talented people along for the ride. They're very on the beat of New York City news, and if you can pull people aside, there's a lot to be learned.

Cons

NY1 is part of a big corporation (TWC) and sometimes moves at big corporation speeds. There is also so much going on ... and so many people at the office ... that it feels oddly anonymous at times.

Potential to make a decent salary with commission IF you can get creative in making your goals.

Cons

Management only cares about exceeding sales goals and doesn't care about customer service. They need to quit micro-managing and let their employees do their job. The peons make the supervisors look good and get major bonuses and the peons aren't rewarded for their efforts
