      Pros

      The people I worked with are nice and creative.

      Cons

      Wow, where do I start. - pay is not competitive. - I have never worked at a company where literally EVERYONE I work with at any given time is looking for a new job. Spin Master is now this company. - they are forcing people back into the office and staff isn’t happy. Morale is very low. Not compensating people for increased travel and commute time. - strategic decisions are based on appeasing the higher-ups. - monetary raises aren’t matching inflation. It’s almost laughable.

      Pros

      Amazing people, good benefits, fun office, fun projects.

      Cons

      No processes, no structures, management isn't even open to the idea of processes. Terrible pay, staff is undervalued. You have to beg for any change to happen, and most of the times it still doesn't happen. A lot of management does minimal work while their direct reports underneath them are breaking their backs to do their own jobs and their manager's job.

      Not what I expected

      Pros

      -smart and hardworking colleagues -decent health/wellness benefits, quarterly remote work credit -can learn a lot because you’ll be expected to fill 2 people’s roles -very fast paced/dynamic with lots of changes happening

      Cons

      -even if during the interview you are told OT does not happen often, do expect very long work hours. (Ie, average14 hour day during busy time). This seems to be the expectation from management because work is dumped on you and deadlines are unrealistic. Also there’s no compensation for working OT. -you have to plan your vacations and sometimes even your weekends around the busy times each month because there’s not enough coverage in the team and you maybe expected to work during weekend. -constantly on calls and can’t even get away from your desk. -it’s true what other people on here said, this company does not respect work life balance. -no RRSP matching for employees less than 3 years with the company -compensation (merit/bonus) is not up to par with market
