Disgusting organization

Pros

Ok benefits. Interesting industry. Some nice people.

Cons

This company is constantly going through reorganization and restructuring. Complete chaos all the time. No onboarding, leaves employees to either fend for themselves, rely on colleagues kindness or fail. They use people like tools, once broken toss away. Horrible HR department that controls organization and tries to manage it as if it is a bank. SO much political games and zero accountability, especially with the executive team. Everybody tries to hold on to their seat (as true politicians).

This company is laughable!

Pros

-Not enough pros to hide the awful negative experience. -A pro would be to NOT work as this company. I read all the Glassdoor reviews, thinking it can't be that bad, but it is really bad! I should of listened to all of those reviews and the poor rating this company has. I would of saved myself a year of losing my self confidence and a year of learning nothing but the Spin Master process. It is a negative and toxic company to work for and no money in the world would make up for that kind of environment.

Cons

-Continue to say they aren't corporate...they are a billion dollar company and have toy factories in China and India, just admit what you are. -Constant bully mentality from upper management. Always felt anxious to go to work and be at work. Was scared to have meetings alone with manager. -They acquire companies, promise the original employees their jobs are safe and then do a mass firing, only to fill those exact same roles with cheaper, younger talent. -Each group is really cliquey and is almost against each other. Everyone loves to pass the buck and not take responsibilty. -Unrealistic asks with the small budget provided. -No support from HR, even when you express your mental health is at stake. -Constant cutbacks. -Company that rides the high of two accomplishments. -No team or company bonding experiences, if there is, they are very lackluster. -Having fun is looked down upon.

Pros

Free bagels on Wednesdays Some free toys The office is new You will meet some sweet people Good health benefits

Cons

Old-school, toxic culture -bullying by management & colleagues -management which believes employees should "fear" them -"If you don't like something, get a new job" mentality -No work life balance -Employees constantly reminded they are disposable -No ability to work from home, even due to health issues -Good employees quit and the bad ones stick around forever until they become managers -High turnover High ambiguity -Processes are not yet in place and there is a lot of disagreement on how to do things -A lot of manual work -System not yet optimized -a LOT of constant changes/implementations and none of them are done properly causing backlog Compensation -compensation for most roles is on low to the low end of average for industry standards
