Pros

The work environment is nice. Good office location.

Cons

Progression is poor. The salaries are low, and salary increases are minimal. The company opposes salary transparency. No real reason to stick around other than the relaxed environment.

Thanks for sharing. Our culture and working environment is great and our London Office located very centrally with prime access to the hub of Kings Cross. Disappointing to hear your views on progression as this is something we focus on as career development is critical to our strategy to retain our best talent. Roles are advertised and if you're proactive there should be options for all to review and progress. You will hear more about this in the next few weeks. Salaries are carefully benchmarked against our competitors and reviewed regularly.

Exciting international company

Pros

Inclusive, international environment. So far has every co-worker been super friendly and willing to help and provide support if needed. No need to "chase" people (or their managers) for input. I find the working tasks very interesting and exciting as well. Good salary, 30 available days for vacation, possibility for home office and workation and a good cafeteria are also strong pros.

Cons

Only one small con: as Springer Nature is international with offices all over the world, some processes takes a little bit longer as you wait for input from someone on the other side of the globe.

Thank you for sharing. Every day working along side really smart and inspiring colleagues in a collaborative and innovative culture is incredibly rewarding. Our benefits are indeed great and workation is the latest addition to our flexible working which is proving very popular. We do have a business full of lots of drive and passion and a culture that promotes from within with a focus on identifying and developing our talent and offering opportunities to grow and thrive here with full support from colleagues around you across the globe. We do like to collaborate and getting buy in from international colleagues can take time and once agreed we can move at pace. To your point, there is always room to improve so thank you for your feedback on sharing info in English which is our corporate language of choice so a great point.
