Pros

In short, best job I've ever had that I actually look forward to coming to work everyday but details below. - Usual startup type perks such as games, snacks, frequent lunches, team/company get togethers - Unlimited vacation that is truly unlimited - Really smart engineers - Great company culture. Really laid back people that you want to hang out with and regularly do. - Awesome people and in general everyone is super chill and cool to work with. People really care about succeeding together and not individually.

Cons

- Growing pains and general challenges adapting to an increasingly competitive adtech market but this can be a pro if you like these kinds of problems - Migration challenges and dealing with the tech debt associated with it - Slight disconnect in getting leadership to fully communicate direction to the rest of the company

Pros

- Greats snacks and Monday Breakfast - Holiday parties - Strong Engineering staff

Cons

- Favoritism. Don't expect to move up based on your own merit. Tapad only promotes a select few people based on if you are from the parent company (Telenor) - Loss of company culture. Tapad used to be filled with warm faces and ambitious goals, but now everyone bonds over the poor prospects of the company (misery loves company) - Leaders of the Tapad don't have the experience or know which direction to steer the company to, and it shows - Non existent training program. You learn on the go. Sink or swim. If you sink, management is sure to push you out. If you swim, management is sure to take advantage of you/work you to the bone. - Tapad is a huge gossip mill with no transparency into anything

Thank you for your feedback. Over the past year, we have introduced a structured approach to our employee promotion process. We promoted 10 employees across various departments on the business side and 13 employees on the tech side of our organization with more to come before the end of the year. Out of these promotions and the remaining promotions, only 1 of these employees is a former Telenor employee. We believe strongly in promoting from within and will continue to do so in order to retain top talent and recognize our high performers. We have made great strides to enhance our company culture through our core beliefs and employee recognition initiatives. Part of this includes our newly introduced e-learning training programs and we are currently in the process of building out a management training program. Both of these programs will provide employees with the tools and resources to improve their performance and grow within the company. In regards to transparency, we recognize there is always room for improvement. We hold an all hands meeting every 6 weeks to report to the whole team how we are progressing towards our company objectives, which also includes financial updates from our CFO. Most recently we added a way for employees to send in anonymous questions to ensure there are ample opportunities for complete transparency prior to our company-wide meetings. In addition, we are kicking off a bi-monthly stand-up meeting this week to add an additional layer of transparency. All objectives are listed on our internal team portal and include live progress updates for all employees to view. As we continue to grow, we work to enhance our culture and make sure all employees feel recognized and respected. We appreciate you addressing your concerns and we will continue working towards filling gaps where they exist.

Pros

Cutting edge technology and brilliant minds behind our products. Management is very transparent. By far the best company culture I've ever been a part of. The benefits are amazing and the unlimited snacks around the office aren't bad either. The company is growing and bringing on some strong talent. I can't wait to see where we are in 5 years.

Cons

I wish we had Summer Fridays
