Texas Roadhouse is not the same company it was 10 years ago
Pros
-Very popular restaurant -High volume with usually quick table turn over -Decent per person average
Cons
-The style of the restaurant can attract cheap tippers -When Roadhouse first came around they were all about supporting the staff making a great work environment. Examples being larger serving areas, minimal tip out at the end of the night, large food discount before/after a shifts, regular work parties, and just enough employees that everyone worked how ever many hours they wanted. But a few years into operation they made a huge shift to all about the best customer's experience and to make the most money possible. Which is great for the customer and the bottom line but they shrunk the servers areas, created positions that did some good but was not worth the extra money from my tips, and completely over staffed the place.
