Pros

My co-workers are nice and the work is challenging.

Cons

I have never seen such extreme favoritism. The same individuals get the best projects and all of the promotions. It's not based on merit, but based on who your friends are. Subsequently, morale is low and turnover is rampant.

Pros

Transunion has recognized the need to balance internal and external talent and has been bringing in a lot of experienced, external new hires.

Cons

Hiring is difficult due to a bad model for titles and a really bad model for compensation. Compensation is weak compared to industry models in healthcare, banking and technology (where we say we are trying to position ourselves). Benefits overall are pretty weak also making it difficult to attract talent.

Pros

Free Jolly Ranchers in office. Located next to Union Station. New Logo. Nearby public transportation. Volunteer Time Off Flex Day. Personal trainer available. Natural light in office.

Cons

It is 2015, mistreatment of employees in any manner, irrespective of sex or race, is unacceptable and inexcusable. This may be a reason for engagement survey results & lots of attrition within USIS Finance. HR tends to be perceived as working in an unprofessional nature alongside the egregious actions of those (SVP's / Mgr's) they support. Employees who may have witnessed wrong doings may keep quiet as they feel nervous or scared their own career growth may be in jeopardy. This may prevent progressive voices from being heard and hurts those suffering. Alternatively, the culture may have shaped the employees to ignore potential injustices, or those they hire may not desire a work environment, or world, without injustices.
